6 Hour CEU Workshop
Join us for a comprehensive 6-hour CEU workshop on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at the stunning Westward Look Resort in Tucson. This NBCC-approved professional development day offers two powerful sessions designed to enhance your practice and meet continuing education requirements.
The morning ethics presentation, “Hitting a Home Run with the Board: Avoiding Strikes by Understanding Common Pitfalls,” led by Tobi Zavala, Executive Director of the Board of Behavioral Health, will provide essential insights into new rules and statutes, common Board complaint areas, and the Compact’s impact on Arizona practitioners.
After a catered lunch, renowned psychotherapist Gigi Veasey, LCSW, LIAC, CCBT, will guide participants through “Unlocking Grief: The Good, the Bad & the Complicated,” exploring cultural competency in grief counseling and helping clinicians better support clients through loss and trauma.
With 3 CEU hours in ethics and 3 in cultural competency, this workshop offers invaluable knowledge in an inspiring setting. Registration is $150.00 and includes all materials and lunch.
