Provider Name & Credentials
Professional Statement

I work with adults struggling with anxiety disorders and those who have survived developmental childhood trauma. The results of childhood trauma manifest most vividly in relationships and so I also treat couples and individuals who seem to keep making the same mistakes again and again in their relationships. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a third wave behavioral therapy rooted in mindfulness and existential values.

I founded the Austin Mindfulness Center in Austin, Texas in 2011, where I trained other therapists in ACT and provided counseling and educational opportunities for learning mindfulness practice. I founded the Texas Chapter of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science in 2012 and was president until 2016. I moved to Tucson in 2018 and have opened a solo practice in Oro Valley.
