My name is Tom Nielsen and I am a Financial Counselor.
I am also the Author of "Household Finance 101 - Your Flight Plan to Financial Independence".
My practice is built on three main pillars:
- Financial Education (Mindsets and technical subjects)
- Create clarity around life goals 3, 5, and 10 years out.
- Self-sufficiency and confidence around finances.
I offer free consultations in order to be sure I can offer value. From there the client can choose individual sessions or enroll in 3-to-6 months programs.
Ideal clients are professionals and small business owners with a decent income, but feeling overwhelmed or unfamiliar when it comes to taking care of the financial side of life.
Having co-founded as well as run all the aspects of a thriving Psychotherapy Practice, I have specific expertise in connecting and discussing financial matters with this group. I have also served many other professionals ranging from medical doctors to engineers.
I am a member of AFCPE and enrolled in their certification program to become fully accredited as an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) - the gold standard in the field.
